Phillips Norelco SensoTouch 3D: Best Shaver on the Market?

If I could describe the Phillips Norelco SensoTouch 3D in one word, it would be ‘wow’. The technology and science packed into this tiny little machine is truly remarkable and probably why the price is a bit higher than most electric shavers, with a few exceptions.

There is a gyroscope inside the shaver to make sure it shaves every part of the face when being used. This is something some of the cheaper shavers have an issue with.

When you shave, sometimes you need to go over multiple times because the shaver only gets parts. This one gets every single little hair on the first time which saves a lot of time and that’s very important to me.

There is also a pop out trimmer for mustaches, side burns, neck, etc. Another great feature of the Phillips Norelco SensoTouch 3D is that this electric shaver is almost silent.

I can’t believe how quiet this thing is. The vast majority of electric shavers are much louder than this so if sound is important to you, this may be a good choice.

Additionally, it shaves through my thick beard extremely fast. In fact, I set a personal record for myself and was able to shave my entire face in under three minutes.

I was so happy. My neck is normally an issue when shaving but this gets all the hair and doesn’t take up a bunch of time.

Another great feature of the Phillips Norelco SensoTouch 3D is the cleaning mechanism. All you do is pop the blades up and rinse out the collector. Simple, easy, and effective.

The only thing that I think could be improved is the price. While the cost is somewhat steep, what the product offers greatly outweighs the cost.

One reason I think the price is realistic is because the 3D blade formation is extremely precise and shaves just like a real razor. For the price, the Phillips Norelco Sensotouch 3D is a great value.

It excels in all the categories that I look for in an electric wet/dry shaver and therefore was definitely worth the price I paid.

One issue I have had with many electric shavers is comfort. This one is very lightweight and has a very unique yet comfortable shape and it feels great when I’m holding it.

I remember years ago I had one where I constantly had to adjust my hand because it was shaped so poorly. It never gets stuck or tugs on the hairs on my face to the point that it gets uncomfortable.

One important thing to note: the Phillips Norelco SensoTouch 3D does have a two and a half year warranty. The first one slipped out of my hand in the shower. It still worked but it sounded like there was something wrong with the motor as it kept making this clinking sound.

I wasn’t sure what to do so I did some research and learned about the warranty that Phillips offers. I was worried it was going to be a pain to get it replaced or I wouldn’t be able to at all as I have had issues with other companies when it comes to warrantees.

I called the customer service line and talked to someone who was very quick and helpful and was able to get me a new one within a week.

I was thrilled to say the least. I like to dry shave and am very picky about blades and how close to the skin I am shaved. The Phillips Norelco SensoTouch 3D is the perfect combination of a close shave and comfort for my skin (which is more sensitive than average).
